RTA Service Timings for Ramadan 2024
Ramadan is around the corner and generally, timings are revised to offer more convenience to the residents. Road and Transport Authority (RTA) Dubai also revises business hours for public holidays, special occasions and Ramadan.
That said, RTA service timings for Ramadan 2023 are announced, and the working hours of the customer care centres and public transport have changed. Let’s find out complete details about service timings during Ramadan announced by RTA.
2023 RTA Services Ramadan Timing
RTA Dubai has announced the service timings for Ramadan. These new RTA service timings will be effective from the first Ramadan (11th March 2023). Customers’ happiness centres, Tasjeel Vehicle Testing Service Centres and public transport timings will observe the following timings in Ramadan.
RTA Customers Happiness Centres Timing For Ramadan
Customer Happiness Centres will be the following business hours during Ramadan:
- Monday to Thursday: 09:00 am to 05:00 pm
- Friday: 09:00 am to 12:00 pm
Meanwhile, RTA Smart Customer Happiness Centres at Umm Ramool, Al Kifaf, Deira, Al Barsha and RTA Head Office will not be affected by the RTA service timings for Ramadan.
RTA Technical Service Centres Timing For Ramadan
Vehicle testing centres in Dubai, such as Tasjeel and other RTA technical service centres, will observe the following timings during Ramadan:
- Tasjeel Branch in Jebel Ali
- Monday to Thursday and Saturday: 07:00 am to 04:00 pm
- Friday: 7:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Tasjeel Centre in Al Hatta
- Monday to Thursday and Saturday: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Metro and Tram Stations
The Dubai Metro will observe the following RTA service timings for Ramadan:
- Monday to Thursday: 05:00 am to 12:00 am (midnight)
- Friday: 05:00 am to 01:00 am (next day)
- Saturday: 05:00 am to 12:00 am (midnight)
- Sunday: 08:00 am to 12:00 am (midnight)
Dubai Tram stations will operate at the following times in Ramadan as announced by RTA:
- Monday to Saturday: 06:00 am to 01:00 am (next day)
- Sunday: 09:00 am to 01:00 am (next day)
Public Buses
Residents can find the RTA public buses in Dubai operating from 4:30 am to 1:00 am (the next day). Meanwhile, bus timings are from 6:00 am to 1:00 am (the next day) on Saturday and Sunday.
