With Eid Al Fitr around the corner, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced new service timings of public transport to facilitate travellers during the holidays. The shift in timing is intended to provide more flexibility and convenience during the holiday season.
Here are the complete details regarding the revised RTA Eid timings.
Service Timings of RTA During Eid Holidays
RTA Dubai has rolled out a revised schedule for its services and public transport in the Emirates for the Eid holidays. The schedule will be effective during the Eid Al Fitr holidays, starting from 19th March 2026 to 21st March 2026.
RTA Customer Happiness Centres Timings During Eid
All the RTA Customer Happiness Centres will remain closed during Eid Al Fitr. However, the following centres will continue to operate round the clock.
- Umm Ramool Customer Happiness Centre
- Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar and Al Kifaf
- RTA Head Office
RTA Service Provider Centres (Technical Testing) Timings During Eid
All the service centres will remain closed during the Eid Al Fitr holidays and will resume working from 22nd March 2026.
RTA Metro Timings During Eid
According to the RTA timings for Eid Al Fitr 2026, the Dubai Metro Green and Red line stations will operate from 05:00 AM to 01:00 AM (next day) between 18th and 21st March 2026. The timings will be from 08:00 AM to 01:00 AM (next day) on Sunday, 22nd March.
RTA Tram Timings during Eid
According to the RTA Eid timings, the Dubai Tram will be operational from 06:00 AM to 01:00 AM (next day) between 18th and 21st March 2026. The timings will be from 09:00 AM to 01:00 AM (next day) on Sunday, 22nd March.
RTA Bus Timings During Eid 2026
The RTA public and intercity bus services timings will also be adjusted during the Eid Al Fitr holiday in 2026. Users are advised to check the S’hail app for details. The bus route E100 Al Ghubaiba Bus Stations will be out of service from 18th March to 22nd March 2026. During this time, travellers can use E101, connecting Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi.
Bus route E102 will operate directly from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Musaffah from 19th March to 22nd March 2026. skipping stops at Ibn Battuta Bus Station and Musaffah.
RTA Marine Transport Timings During Eid
In Dubai Marine Transports, the excursions will remain operational at normal timings. However, users are instructed to use the S’hail app to know any potential changes in the timings.
