DUBAI INTERCITY BUS SERVICE
Road and Transport Authority (RTA) oversees the Dubai intercity bus service. There were many buses on route from Dubai to Fujairah, Al Ain, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman and Hatta. But, due to Covid-19 restrictions, a few bus routes have been suspended till further notice. However, a few intercity route lines are still open. Passengers can commute to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Hatta via RTA public buses. Here is a list of inter-emirate bus routes operating between Dubai to neighboring Emirates:

DUBAI TO ABU DHABI INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
Commuting via Dubai to Abu Dhabi intercity bus is convenient and affordable as compared to other modes of public transport. There are two Dubai intercity bus operating on the route to Abu Dhabi, i.e. E101 and E100.
E101 intercity bus Dubai to Abu Dhabi departs from Ibn Battuta Mall and E100 departs from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station in Bur Dubai.
The trip takes about one and a half to two hours and the fare between the two Emirates costs up to AED 25, each side.
DUBAI TO SHARJAH INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
There are four intercity bus shuttling from Dubai to Sharjah, i.e. E303, E306, E307 and E307A that depart from four different public bus stations in Dubai.
The E303 bus departs from Union Square Metro Station, E306 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, E307 from Deira City Center Bus Station and E307A from Abu Hail Metro Station. All the four buses arrive at Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah.
The service frequency of buses on routes E306 and E307 is every 20 minutes.
The intercity bus tickets cost around AED 10 to AED 15 from Dubai to Sharjah (each side). The Dubai intercity bus to Sharjah may take around 2 hours and 30 minutes or may be more, depending on traffic situation.
DUBAI TO AJMAN INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
The Inter-emirate bus service from Dubai to Ajman shuttles two bus routes, E400 and E411. The E400 bus leaves from Union Square Metro Station and E411 departs from the bus stop at Etisalat Metro Station. Both Dubai intercity bus routes arrive at Ajman Bus Station. The entire trip takes about 50 minutes, as per the traffic situation.
The first E400 bus from Dubai departs at 4:58 am max and the last one leaves at 11:30 pm. The two Dubai intercity bus shuttles 7 days a week to Ajman.
You can pay for the trip with nol card and the journey per side may cost you up to AED 12 on your nol card.
DUBAI TO HATTA INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
The Dubai intercity bus E16 shuttles from Al Sabkha Bus Station to Hatta. The bus may take around 2 hour and 30 minutes or up to 3 hours to reach Hatta Bus Station from Dubai. The entire journey (one side) may cost around AED 24 to AED 35.
DUBAI TO RAS AL KHAIMAH INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
The Dubai intercity bus to Ras Al Khaimah operates every day. The first bus leaves from Dubai at 8:00 am and last bus leaves around 9:45 pm to Ras Al Khaimah. The bus for Ras Al Khaimah departs every 1 to 1.5 hours. The fare rate for each side is AED 20.
ABU DHABI INTERCITY BUS SERVICE
The Abu Dhabi inter-emirate bus service is in operation by the Department of Municipalities and Transport’s Integrated Transport Centre (ITC). The intercity bus from Abu Dhabi to Dubai and to Sharjah, Ruwais, Liwa and Al Ain can be taken from the Abu Dhabi main bus station, located adjacent to Al Wahda Mall.
To commute from Abu Dhabi to Ai Ain take X90 route bus and to travel between Al Dhafra region and the capital, you can take either X87, X60, X62, X86 or X88 route buses.
The intercity bus fares from Abu Dhabi is AED 10 + 10 Fils per kilometer. Hafilat card is used to pay for the intercity bus tickets from Abu Dhabi.

ABU DHABI TO AL AIN INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
The X90 bus runs every hour from Abu Dhabi to Al Ain from the Central Bus Station. The bus drops passengers at the Al Ain Central Bus Station and the journey may take around 2 hours and 37 minutes. The fare on this route may vary between AED 21 to AED 35.
ABU DHABI TO SHARJAH INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
There is no direct Abu Dhabi to Sharjah inter-emirate bus service. Passengers need to first take E100 from Abu Dhabi, Central Bus Station that arrives at Al Ghubaiba Bus Station 14 in Dubai. You can view famous landmarks on your way to Sharjah, however, the bus does not stops except its dedicated stop. From there you can take E306 for Sharjah that arrives on Al Wahda Road, City Center 1.
The bus from Abu Dhabi to Sharjah arrives after every 20-30 minutes. Besides, the overall commute may take about 3 hours, including transfers and traffic congestion (if any).
The entire trip may cost around AED 25 to AED 35 (one side).
ABU DHABI TO RAS AL KHAIMAH INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
Abu Dhabi intercity bus service to Ras Al Khaimah runs three days from Thursday to Saturday. The bus from Abu Dhabi leaves twice on the given days from Downtown Bus Station, i.e. at 2:30 pm and 7:00 pm. The ride takes about 2 and a half hours to 3 from Abu Dhabi to Ras Al Khaimah. The fare rate per person is AED 35.
ABU DHABI TO DUBAI INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
There is only one intercity bus from Abu Dhabi to Dubai operating at the moment, i.e. Bus E101. Those who wish to commute from the capital city to Dubai can take the bus from the Central Bus Station, Abu Dhabi. The bus arrives at the Ibn Battuta bus stop in Dubai within 2 hours, approximately. The intercity bus from Abu Dhabi to Dubai runs six days a week from Sunday to Friday. The first bus from the capital city leaves at 5:00 am and the last bus at 10:00 pm (weekdays) and 11:15 pm (weekends).

ABU DHABI TO AJMAN INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
The Abu Dhabi intercity bus to Ajman runs two times a day on a daily basis. The first bus leaves for Ajman at 10:00 am and the second leaves at 9:00 pm. The fare rate for each side is up to AED 35.
SHARJAH INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE

The inter-emirate bus service from Sharjah to Abu Dhabi shuttles every hour, 7 days a week. The first bus of the day departs from Al Jubail Bus Station, Sharjah at 3:45 am and arrives at Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station, adjacent to Al Wahda Mall within 2 hours and 30 minutes (depending on the traffic situation). The last bus from Sharjah leaves around 11:30 pm.
The bus reaches Abu Dhabi via Dubai but does not stop at any station in between.
The intercity bus Sharjah to Abu Dhabi fare rates are between AED 25-AED 33 one side/per head. Passengers can buy intercity bus tickets from the bus station in Sharjah or pay the bus fare via Sayer card.
SHARJAH TO DUBAI INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
Passengers can take an Intercity bus Sharjah to Dubai from Al Jubail Bus Station. At the moment, two buses are shuttling between the two cities, E306 and E307A.
The E306 bus departs from Al Jubail Bus Station, Sharjah and arrives at Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, Dubai, passing through 13 stops in between. The bus on this route operates every day and the first bus leaves at 12:58 am (weekdays) and last bus departs at 11:52 pm (weekdays). Timings may differ on weekends.
The bus on route E307A arrives at Abu Hail Metro Bus Station, Dubai every day. The regular departure time of first bus is 5:30 am and the last bus of the day leaves at 9:55 pm. Departure time on weekends may differ. This inter-emirate bus service from Sharjah to Dubai passes through 8 stops in between.
SHARJAH TO AJMAN INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
The inter-emirate bus from Sharjah to Ajman takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. This trip time may vary depending on the traffic situation.
Passengers can take a bus from Al Jubail Bus Station for Ajman that reaches Dubai Ittihad Bus Station within 1 hour and 30 minutes. From there the bus shuttles towards Ajman.
The total fare may vary between AED 10 – AED 14.

RAS AL KHAIMAH TO UMM AL QUWAIN INTER-EMIRATE BUS SERVICE
Commuting from RAK to Umm Al Quwain is hassle-free, as the inter-emirate bus operates every day. The bus shuttles from 7:00 am in the morning to 8:00 pm and frequents from RAK to Umm Al Quwain 1.5 to 2 hours. The one side ticket from RAK is AED 10.
