Students enrolling for Emirates Driving Institute driving course for People of Determination in Dubai are trained on special vehicles featuring hand controls. They can attend training classes only at Al Qusais center. There are different training schedule options that students can choose, read below for the details:
Regular Course Schedule: 2 days per week followed by 2 hours of training. Students can choose their days in combination, Saturday & Tuesday, Sunday & Wednesday, Monday & Thursday.
For regular course, they can also opt to attend training 3 days per week that makes 21 hours of training. They can attend classes on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday or Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Shift Duty Course Schedule: Students picking shift duty course can attend training sessions according to their preferred timings by coordinating with their trainers. They can opt for 4 hours, 6 hours or 8 hours training.

People of Determination students enrolled in Gold Driving Course can attend training sessions at any of the EDI branches as well as Al Qusais branch (EDI head office). Moreover, all vehicles are provided for training by Emirates Driving Institute.

- Carrying RTA learning permit and Emirates ID is mandatory for lectures, tests and practical training sessions.

Al Ahli Driving Institute is another well-known driving school in the Emirate that teaches driving according to set driving rules and regulations by RTA Dubai.
