Almost all driving courses at EDI UAE are divided into two parts: theory and practical.
Students need to attend theory lectures and pass the RTA Knowledge Test before starting practical training. After that, they are required to complete practical training before attempting the RTA road test. However, the training hours might differ as per the driving experience and the type of vehicle. Once the training is complete, you need to clear EDI’s internal assessment test. After clearing the internal assessment test, you will become eligible to give the final RTA test.
Those who successfully complete all these steps and clear the exam can receive their driving license from RAT.
Theory Classes at EDI

Before starting practical training, applicants must attend eight driving lectures; the number of lectures might vary as per the prior experience and vehicle category
Another advantage of taking driving classes from EDI is that you can take theory classes both online and in-person. Also, Al Quoz and Al Qusais centres of EDI offer in-person theory classes on both weekends and weekdays.
