Dubai Autodrome
Dubai Autodrome holds free evenings for running, walking, rollerblading and cycling every Wednesday. The weekly cycling event is known as “Train Dubai” where cyclists can get on the 2.5 km floodlit circuit. You can buy water bottles and rent bikes if you don’t own one at the motor racing track’s cycling facility. The cycling activity and entry are free of cost.

District One, Dubai
The cycling track is almost 9 km long with beautiful views of Dubai’s skyline, you can also get some impressive views of Burj Khalifa when cycling on District One’s cycling track. Many clubs choose District One for their cycling activities. There is a washroom and showering facility in addition to a bike service shop that can fix mechanical issues. Cycling at this track is free of cost.

Al Qudra Cycling Track, Dubai
There is a sprawling network of well-built cycling tracks in Dubai’s desert. Al Qudra Cycling track is one such dedicated asphalt desert cycling track which is about 230 km long. You can find a Trek store here that rents bikes, other facilities include toilets, showers and a café. Other things include several food trucks.
Please keep in mind Al Qudra Cycling Track Dubai, doesn’t have street lights, so if you are cycling at night, you’ll need good lights and be mindful of the local wildlife around the track, including gazelles.

Dubai’s Casual Cycling Paths
When talking about casual cycling paths in Dubai, there are tracks in Al Barsha Park and Mushrif Park. Additionally, there is a 2 km cycle path along Jumeirah Beach. You can also find a 12 km cycling track at the Dubai Water Canal.
Those who wish to cycle in Dubai but don’t have a bike of their own can always rent cycles from Byky. You can find a number of Byky rental sports across the emirate, including in places such as Deira and Palm Jumeirah. You can rent a cycle with Byky for up to 24 hours.
Popular Cyling Tracks in Abu Dhabi
Following is a list of well-known cycling tracks in the capital.
Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi
Yas Marina Circuit, popularly known as Abu Dhabi’s F1 track, is open to the public three nights a week for Train Yas (a physical fitness program that includes cycling, running and walking) on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Wednesdays are exclusive ladies’ nights. It is also one of the top places for car enthusiasts in the UAE.
The Yas Marina cycling track is a 5.5 km long car-free cycling track. You get free water over there and can find a number of bike shops as well. Furthermore, if you don’t own a bike and a helmet, you can borrow them from the Cleveland Clinic stand.
To save yourself from getting in que, registering for a pass online in advance is a good idea. The pass is free of cost.

Al Wathba Cycling Track, Abu Dhabi
This is a scenic cycling destination of the capital. Surrounded by miles of desert area, the Al Wathba Cycling track is a favourite among many cyclers of Abu Dhabi. The track has several routes. Beginners can ride till the 8 km or 16 km mark, while experts can cycle on the 20 km, 22 km, or the full 30 km cycling route.
Facilities on the cycling loop include washrooms, lockers and changing rooms. Moreover, if you don’t own a cycle you can rent them from FLS bike store. You can also purchase or rent helmets.
Location: Near the Camel Race Track, at a 40 to 50 minutes drive from Abu Dhabi towards Al Ain Road.

Al Ain Cycling Track, Abu Dhabi
Al Ain is Abu Dhabi’s garden city. If you wish to explore the heritage of the capital and stay active at the same time, plan a cycling trip to Al Ain. The Al Ain cycling track is a modern track, where beginners and professionals can cycle easily. You will get to wander through stunning scenery when cycling on the well-lit desert track.
However, there are no washrooms or changing facilities, but you can find a branch of Abu Dhabi Cycling Club here and an ADNOC fuel pump around 3 km from the track that is useful in case riders need to make an emergency pit stop.

Al Hudayriat Island, Abu Dhabi
The cycling track consists of two loops, one is 5 km long, and the other one is 10 km long. The cycling route is surrounded by the fascinating city skyline and coastline views of the ocean. You can find a Yas Cycles shop over here that offers bikes for rent. Moreover, there are changing rooms, showering facilities and vending machines that sell water bottles. The entry to the cycling track is free of cost.

Abu Dhabi’s Cycle Paths
You can find casual, designated cycle paths throughout the capital. You can find cycle paths on Yas Island, Saadiyat Island by the Louvre, the Corniche on Al Maryah Island and in Al Bateen, Khalifa City, to name a few cycling places.
Moreover, if you don’t own a bike, you can rent the big white bikes – Abu Dhabi’s bike share scheme on a per-hour basis. Please keep in mind that the rented cycles must be returned at a docking bay within 60 minutes. Once docked, riders can book the cycle for another hour if they wish to continue.
