SEWA E-Services Portal
Online services are offered through the SEWA e-services portal as part of SEWA’s efforts to effectively interact with its clients and offer them convenient and dependable e-services. The SEWA E-Services Portal offers registered users innovative account management tools that improve the customer experience and increase online participation.
This portal was created based on the needs of SEWA’s customers. It is currently operating in sync with SEWA’s new billing system that was introduced in 2014.
Register to SEWA E-Services Portal
To register with the SEWA e-services portal, follow these steps.
- Update SEWA with your contact and identity details via two methods.
- Send an email to regsupport@sewa.gov.ae with your account number, Emirates ID, mobile number, email address, and a front and back scanned copy of your Emirates ID.
- Visit any SEWA Customer Care Centre with a valid Emirates ID.
- Once you get a confirmation email, visit www.sewa.gov.ae and click on ‘Register’.
- Now, search for your Emirates ID or passport number or trade licence (in case of commercial/industrial account).
- After you find your account details, fill out the form and complete the activation process through email and SMS.

Registration
The SEWA e-services portal offers 2 types of registration, for commercial customers and residential customers. The services available for residential customers are also available for commercial customers.
Edit Profile
The customers registered with the SEWA electronic services portal can edit their profile and contact details on the portal. They can also change their login details at their convenience using OTP (One-Time-Pin) confirmation.
Locate Us
With the Locate Us feature, the service will locate the closest customer care centre to the customer based on their location on the map.
Managing Accounts
With the SEWA e-service portal, registered users can link more than one account ID to their Personal ID. The feature helps in managing multiple accounts for the user regarding follow-ups on service requests and payments.
View Bills
The View Bills feature of the SEWA e-services portal lets a customer view a summary of the bills for all the linked account IDs on his personal ID. It also lets them check the bill details.
Online Payment
With the use of SEWA’s online payment gateway, portal users can pay their bills online. The user can choose multiple accounts as well as add more accounts to pay for in real-time using this feature.
A 1.75% service fee is added to the total amount paid. (Note that service fees are paid to the bank service provider.)
Payment List
The Payment List feature provides a summary of all received payments from SEWA’s account based on the account ID, along with their date of payment and payment source.
Service Request Status
With the Service Request Status feature portal users can follow up on their SEWA requests, which include (Move In, Move Out, Manage Accounts and Emergency Reporting) requests
Consumption Graph
Based on the type of service agreement with SEWA, this Consumption Graph feature gives portal users a summary graph of their utility usage (Electricity, Water or Gas) over the last three months.
View Statement
The SEWA e-services portal provides a statement that consolidates all bills, to government entities and businesses with more than 50 SEWA accounts. Additionally, it offers the choice of paying these bills via cheque.
Cancel Login
The portal user may request via the portal to deactivate the account if decided not to utilise the e-services any further. A confirmation email will be sent to the customer regarding the deactivation of the online account.
FAQs
When searching for the registration form, why does the error ‘ID Number not found’ pop up?
If you get an error saying, “ID Number not found”, check that the ID provided does not bear any characters ( -, _, /, etc). Also, make sure you have updated a relevant ID on SEWA. If you are using the account of your relative, spouse or parent, make sure the ID belongs to that person.
Why am I unable to log in after trying it multiple times?
Multiple failed attempts can lock your account. To unlock the account, submit a request on www.sewa.gov.ae/contactus.aspx.
Does SEWA take service charges for e-payment?
SEWA charges a 1.75% service fee and adds it to the total amount paid. This service fee is paid to the bank service provider.
