RTA Student Nol Card Application
To apply for a personal Nol card:
➡ Visit the official RTA website and go to ‘RTA Services’.
➡ In the “Apply for a personal nol card” option, click on ‘Apply Now’
➡ You will then be directed to the personal nol card application online.
➡ Click ‘next’ after selecting ‘apply for new personal nol card.’
➡ Choose the travel class.
➡ Select ‘student’ from the ‘category’ option.
➡ As the card category for students is blue, the type of card is automatically selected. Followed by this, you are required to provide your name, Emirates ID number, phone number, additional phone number (optional), date of birth, email address, area of residence, street name, and house/apartment number in the RTA student nol card application form.
➡ The next step in the application is to upload the required documents, which include an Emirates ID copy, a personal photograph and an official school or university letter confirming that the applicant is a student in the UAE. When submitting the required information, keep in mind that the copy of the Emirates ID and the image must be in JPEG format and under 2 MB in size.
➡ Using a credit or debit card, pay for the personal nol card and application costs. A student card will cost you AED 70. The application charges are AED 50, with a balance of AED 20 on the card.
➡ The applicant will get the reference number through SMS after the online application is complete. Via SMS, they will keep you up to date on the card’s status. It takes about four working days for the card to be delivered. The mailing of the personal nol card is free, and it is sent to your registered address by a courier service registered with RTA Dubai.
Documents Required For RTA Student Nol Card
To avail the discount on public transportation in Dubai, it is mandatory to submit the following documents when applying for a personal nol card.
• Copy of valid Emirates ID (both sides)
• Personal photograph (white background)
• An authorized document verifying that the candidate is currently enrolled as a student in the United Arab Emirates.
All the documents mentioned thereof must be in Arabic or English. Else, the applicant will be required to submit a translation alongside the documents in order for the application to be processed.
