Introduced in Abu Dhabi in 2014, the system uses sensors to count the number of vehicles at any signal and adjust the traffic signals accordingly.
It is a modern adaptive traffic control system and is being used not only in Abu Dhabi but also in Dubai.
4. Road safety awareness
