Third Generation (2005 to 2012)
The third-generation Pathfinder was completely redesigned with a more rugged-off exterior in comparison to the second-generation. The original body-on-frame from the 1-unit configuration returns to support this exterior. The radiator grille was divided into three halves with larger headlights at the corner. Also, Matching heavy-duty front bumpers, angular lines, prominent fender flares and roof rack were featured to accompany this new look.

Fourth Generation (2013 to 2016)
The exterior of the Pathfinder was redesigned again in the fourth generation. The previous boxy and rugged-off exterior was replaced with a more aerodynamic shape. The divisions in the radiator grille were removed and the headlights were enlarged with elongated edges.
The cabin interior was decorated with leather upholstery, wood and metal inserts that contribute to making Pathfinder’s cabin more grandeur. Along with this, the second row of seats was equipped with a Latch and Glide feature that folds the seat with a touch of a button to access the third row in the back.

Fifth Generation (2017 to 2021)
In the fifth generation of Nissan Pathfinder, no major changes were observed in the exterior. However, a number of comfort and safety features were introduced in this generation. Different trims of this generation featured a tri-zone climate control system, cruise control, 6-speaker infotainment system, 50/50 reclining third row of seats, and heated steering and seats.
