Nissan Middle East launched the much-awaited all-new Nissan Pathfinder 2022 in the UAE. In its fifth generation, the popular mid-size three row SUV is longer and wider than before. Keeping up with Pathfinder’s legacy and to strengthen its dominance in UAE’s SUV segment, the latest generation has improved itself from its predecessor with greater technology, performance and off-roading features and luxury.
The available 2022 Nissan Pathfinder trim levels are S, SV and SL.
The iconic SUV has offered luxury and freedom to its customers for decades. Thirty-five years after the global launch of the original Pathfinder, the SUV’s fifth-generation’s arrival in the UAE is yet again a strong testament to the company’s dedication. The all-new Pathfinder 2022 has a modern, luxurious and spacious interior. The three-row SUV has an enhanced seating capacity for right people. The front seats are ventilated and heated. The driver’s seat is 8-way adjustable with memory function including 4-way power lumbar support and available 2-way power front passenger seat.
The SUV has woven cloth, leather or premium quilted semi-aniline leather-appointed seats. The seats are offered in a range of colours – Charcoal, Light Gray and Chestnut.
Moreover, with the help of the EZ FLEX Seating System, it is easy to tilt the second-row even with an attached car seat with the help of a push button from both the front and rear sides of the seat. This makes the life of parents and backseat passengers easier.
Nissan Pathfinder 2022 has an acoustic laminated front glass, increased door and floor isolation and a thicker second-row glass. Moreover, the engine noise absorption has been increased by 60 percent, making the interior calm and quiet.
The outside door-mounted mirrors and slimmer panels make up for improved outward visibility and the panoramic moonroof available with one-touch open/close controls makes for a brighter and airier cabin.
Nissan Pathfinder 2022 Exterior
As for the exterior, the mid-size SUV stands on 18 to 20-inch machine cut alloy wheels. The base variant has 18-inch wheels, while the remaining two trims come with 20-inch wheels.
Then, the SUV has a three-notch grille in the front, triangular C pillars and first-generation inspired side wheel fenders. These features make up for the SUV’s style statement.
Other Nissan Pathfinder 2022 exterior features that make the SUV stand out include C-shape LED headlamps, floating rooftop and V-motion grille.

Nissan Pathfinder 2022 is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that churns out 271 hp and 340 Nm of torque. The SUV has a maximum towing capacity of up to 1,500 kgs allowing drivers to carry boats and trailers with full confidence.
The new Pathfinder 2022 works with 9-speed automatic transmission enabling strong acceleration and boosting the driver’s confidence both on and off-road. The 2022 Pathfinder SUV makes use of a new intelligent 4×4 system that offers seven driving modes, including:

- Sport
- Sand
- Mud
Nissan Pathfinder 2022 Infotainment
As for infotainment and connectivity, Nissan Pathfinder 2022 offers the latest Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) technologies including ProPILOT. This feature makes the workload of a driver easy. Case in point: it reduces the amount of acceleration, braking input in some driving conditions like highway driving and steering.
Some grades of the Pathfinder are equipped with Remote Engine Start options for more ease and comfort and Intelligent Cruise Control with a Full-Speed Range and Hold.
Other features include a 12.3-inch digital dashboard with a variety of easy-to-navigate screen options. Then, NissanConnect features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This is a standard feature accompanied by wireless Apple CarPlay integration available with a wireless smartphone charging pad.
The SUV also has a 12-speaker Bose Premium Audio system with an optional 10.8-inch Head-up Display in the SL grade.
