Founded in 1997, Geely is a renowned automotive brand. It is a Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (ZHG) subsidiary in China. SAFETY FEATURES
Cruise Control, six airbags and a 540-degree transparent chassis provide a safe ride in the Coolray. Moreover, the car also comes with a powered tailgate and wireless charging options.
The starting price of Coolray is AED 67,500 in the UAE.
EMGRAND
EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR
Another model that car enthusiasts can buy at the new Geely AGMC showroom in Sharjah is Emgrand. The brand’s take on automotive aerodynamics is seen in the sedan’s exterior. A broad front grille, sleek taillights and auto-folding rear-view mirrors enhance the Emgrand’s appearance.
Thanks to the NVH technology in cars, the sedan houses a quiet interior at 37 decibels. The interior offers seating for five with suede seats. Also, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, automatic door locks and an electrically-adjustable driver’s seat make up the interior.
POWER AND TRANSMISSION
A 1.5-litre engine mated with an 8 CVT transmission powers the Emgrand. The car produces a total power output of 103 hp and 142 Nm of torque. The use of a torque converter structure improves the transmission efficiency by 2%. Also, the car can reach 100km/hr in 11.96 seconds with a 7% reduced fuel consumption.
SAFETY FEATURES
A car tyre pressure monitoring system, ultrasonic reversing radar and Hill Assist are some of the car’s safety features. A CN95 filter keeps the interior pollution-free.

The Geometry C is an electric car with a futuristic design including a feather-shaped tail light and flush door handles that adorn the exterior.
