How to Check & Renew Mulkiya Online
Timely renewal of Mulkiya i.e. vehicle ownership card will save you from fines caused by the delay in renewal. To make the process easier and faster, RTA has introduced multiple ways for checking Mulkiya online.
This guide covers all the ways to check your Mulkiya card status online and all you need to know about each process.
Checking Mulkiya Online
There are various government entities that allow you to check the status of your Mulkiya card and avail renewal services through their website and apps:
Road and Transport Authority (RTA) Website and App
The official RTA website and app are the go-to for any services related to vehicles in Dubai. You can check your Mulkiya by selecting “Check Vehicle Expiry” and entering vehicle license plate. Additionally you can renew your Mulkiya by entering vehicle details like plate number, category and registration date under the ‘Vehicle Renewal tab’.
The process can be done either by visiting the RTA website or via their Dubai Drive mobile app. If you are facing any issue, contact their call centre at 8009090.
TAMM
TAMM offers any service related to the Abu Dhabi government. The process is quite similar to that of the RTA website and app, but you will need to log on to your account before you can check or renew your Mulkiya.
UAE Ministry of Interior (MOI)
MOI portal offers services for all of the emirates including renewal of vehicle registration. To use their services, you have to create your account and select ‘Vehicle Renewal’ under ‘e-Services’.
Emirates Vehicle Gate (EVG)
EVG offers services on a broader scope as it covers various other countries like Egypt, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. To start off with the renewal of the registration card, you will need to create a new account and select ‘Issuance of a New Registration Card’. From here you can check the status of your current Mulkiya and apply for renewal as well.
