The front fascia was equipped with a narrow radiator grille with a VW logo in the centre. The grille was sandwiched between eye-shaped headlights. The first generation Tiguan was facelifted by Volkswagen in 2011. The front fascia was completely redesigned with a new radiator grille and headlights. Body contours were also added on the hood to provide the Tiguan with a rugged off-exterior. The body colour horizontal slate was removed from the air intake present on the lower bumper. Whereas at the rear end, more sophisticated brake lights were installed.
The cabin was decorated with ambient lighting and leather upholstery. Moreover, heated front seats and the multifunctional steering wheel were also present. The facelifted version was equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, an 8-speaker audio system, keyless entry, cruise control, a navigation system and an automatic climate control system.

Second Generation Volkswagen Tiguan (2016 to 2020)
The second generation of Tiguan was released at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2016. The front fascia features redesigned rectangular headlights and a narrow radiator grille with horizontal slats. On the lower bumper, fog lights, and two different air intakes were present.
The cabin contains a simple dashboard that features an 8-inch infotainment screen, AC vents and necessary controls. The two-dial instrument cluster was positioned behind the steering wheel. For maximum comfort, reclining rear seats were offered in the second-generation Tiguan.
The car was powered by a 2.0-TDI engine and a 6-speed manual transmission system. For the drivetrain, an optional 2WD and AWD were offered.
Second Generation Volkswagen Tiguan Facelift (2021 to Present)
Volkswagen Tiguan’s evolution history continues with the facelift of the second generation in 2021. At the front end, narrow swept-back headlights and a radiator grille with illuminated horizontal slats are present. Moreover, the car is equipped with iLQ.LIGHT and LED headlights with 24 luminescent diodes.
The cabin contains bucket seats at the front and split-folding rear seats. The dashboard is equipped with the latest control panel, infotainment screen and sliders.
