Free Parking on Eid in Dubai
On the auspicious occasion of Eid, the Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced free public parking for 4 days. Except for the multi-level parking terminals, Dubai parking is free during the Eid Al Fitr holidays. The new timings of free parking in Dubai on Eid Al Fitr will be effective from Thursday, April 20 (Ramadan 29) to the 3rd Shawaal (Islamic Hijri calendar month). Hence, the parking fee will resume on the 4th of Shawwal 1444 AH.
On April 20th, the moon-sighting committee of the UAE will convene to decide whether Eid will be celebrated on April 21st (Friday) or April 22nd (Saturday). If Eid is celebrated on Friday, free parking will be available from Thursday until Sunday. However, if Eid is celebrated on Saturday, free parking will be provided from Thursday until Monday.
Time Limit for Public Parking in Dubai
You can only park your vehicle for 4 consecutive hours in public parking areas in Dubai. However, all other parking rules and regulations in Dubai will remain the same.
