Advanced Features of the EQS by Mercedes-EQ
Following are some unique features of the all-new Mercedes EQS.
A New Generation of Batteries with Higher Energy Density
Batteries with high energy density power the new EQS. Updates over the air (OTA) are possible with the innovative battery management software developed in-house. This allows the energy management system to stay up to date throughout its life cycle.
The car battery can charge within 15 minutes at fast-charging stations. Additionally, you can charge your new electric car from Mercedes-EQ at home with the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox Home. It takes just a few hours to charge the EV with this system.
Navigation with Electric Intelligence
This navigation system with electric intelligence provides the driver with the most convenient and fastest route. The routes include charging stops for when your batteries run out of charging. The system also reacts dynamically to any change in driving style due to several factors such as traffic situation.
Another useful feature in the EQS infotainment system (MBUX or Mercedes-Benz User Experience) is a screen showing if the battery capacity is enough to return to the starting point without being charged.
Purpose Design
Though the EQS is closely related to the new S-Class, it is developed on an all-electric architecture. The innovative concept of EQS led to the development of a Purpose Design featuring its one-bow lines and cab-forward design with a fastback.
The EQS is evidently different from other combustion engine vehicles. The design philosophy of the first luxury electric sedan consists of Sensual Purity combined with Progressive Luxury. The philosophy reflects in the car’s well-sculpted surfaces, reduced joints and seamless design transitions.

The electric luxury has wheel options ranging from 19 to 22-inch wheels with an aero design for better efficiency. The entire body of the car is in a one-bow design.
As for the interior, the new Mercedes EQS has a fascinating one that meets the highest standards in luxury vehicles. There is ambient lighting, emotionally appealing visualization with the MBUX hyper screen and first-class rear with generous space. Moreover, there is a big centre console with storage and charging options.
Infotainment
The car has an all-new MBUX hyper screen, which basically means there are three screens behind a seamless piece of glass. Behind the glass, there is an LCD driver display, the main infotainment screen is in the middle, and then there is the passenger display that works only when the passenger seat is occupied. You will discover all the useful features in the car infotainment system of this car.
All the screens are in state-of-the-art OLED technology.
