First Look: Ferrari Luce 2026
Ferrari has entered a new chapter in its decades-long legacy with the debut of the Luce, previously known as Elettrica, the brand’s first fully electric model. A seamless fusion of innovation, elegance and performance, the Luce captures the essence of Ferrari’s racing heritage while embracing a sustainable future. The brand has unveiled the vehicle, featuring 60 new patented technologies.
Ferrari Luce: Groundbreaking Electric Performance
Ferrari equips the Luce with four electric motors, one on each wheel, providing an output of 1,035 hp (1,050 cv) and 7,750 Nm of torque. The car has a top speed of 310 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. The 122 kWh battery pack with 800V architecture provides Ferrari Luce with a range of 530 km. Torque vectoring on all four wheels, active suspension, Side Slip Control system and carbon ceramic brakes further add to the performance of the all-electric Luce.

Ferrari offers the new Luce with a Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) that integrates all major vehicle systems and updates targets 200 times per second. Additionally, the Torque Shift Engagement system improves drivability by meeting the torque demand.
Ferrari Luce: Aerodynamic Exterior Design
Designed by Sir Jony Ive, Marc Newson and LoveFrom, the Luce features a singular design language that unites the car’s interior, exterior and interface.
The aerodynamic styling is supported by active air shutters and a lower ride height, resulting in one of the lowest drag coefficients in Ferrari’s history. At the front fascia, an active grille continuously adjusts to manage air resistance, while suspended front wings maximise air flow channelling.
At the rear end, airflow around the transom perimeter creates a virtual Kammback effect, while induction on the rear sides forms a clean aerodynamic exterior. Additionally, the active suspensions lower the front end by 10mm at higher speeds, maintaining air resistance and drivability.

Ferrari Luce: Interior Experience
Ferrari Luce is available with four rear-hinged doors, offering a seating capacity of five. Built around clear organisational principles, the interior features a three-spoke steering wheel with analogue controls.
The Binnacle and the control panel present on the dashboard provide all the necessary car information. The centre console includes a dedicated docking area for the key. Once the key is docked, the Ferrari’s signature accent comes to life throughout the cabin.

Ferrari Luce: Vehicle Dynamics
The dynamic behaviour of Luce is governed by SSC-X, Ferrari’s real-time vehicle dynamic control system. The system coordinates with 4WD, eTrac and FLOW, maximising agility and control.
Each wheel comes with three actuators, managing traction, vertical load and steering independently. Combined with the drivetrain, it provides Luce with precise handling and cornering.
Ferrari Luce: The Electric Guitar-Inspired Sound Experience
Unlike other electric cars, the Luce derives its cabin sound from genuine powertrain vibrations. An accelerometer on the rear-axle inverter captures those frequencies, which are amplified to create an authentic acoustic signature. In routine driving, the system remains subdued; under acceleration or paddle input, the sound scales, sharpening the sense of response. To reduce electrical whine and harmonics, Ferrari uses a separate, elastically mounted subframe that minimises unwanted vibrations.
