The Dubai Green Mobility Strategy 2030 was launched by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy. This initiative encourages the use of electric and hybrid cars in Dubai to reduce the carbon footprint.
It works conjointly with various other initiatives such as the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050. This strategy aims to produce 75% of the Emirate’s energy requirements through clean sources by 2050.
