- Open EV account and charging card management portal on the DEWA website.
- If you are a DEWA customer, enter your DEWA ID
- If not, select “I am not a DEWA customer”.
- Apply online and enter your vehicle chassis number, choose the Emirate your car is registered in, and fill in the necessary information.
CARD FEES
After filling out the complete information, you will have to pay the following fees:
- Security Deposit: Individuals and businesses need to pay AED 500 while government officials are exempted from the security deposit.
- Delivery Charges: All individuals, businesses, and government officials are required to pay AED 20 delivery charges alongside value-added tax (VAT).
DEWA will deliver the card in three working days when you register it through their website or mobile app.
DEACTIVATING DEWA EV CHARGER ACCOUNT
DEWA facilitates the user to deactivate their EV account free of charge. If the users have planned to deactivate their DEWA EV account, they receive their final bill on the registered email.
REPLACING LOST OR DAMAGED DEWA EV GREEN CHARGER CARD
If the electric car owner has lost or damaged their DEWA EV charger card, they can request a new one online or by visiting the customer happiness centre in Dubai. The user will have to pay AED 200 plus VAT to replace the damaged, lost, or stolen card. That said, the card is delivered in three working days if you have applied online. Meanwhile, customers can receive the card immediately when they register at the DEWA customer happiness centre.
