All about Custom Show Emirates
Custom Show Emirates is the largest exhibition of customised vehicles in the Middle Eastern region. The show provides a platform for car and bike enthusiasts to exhibit their talent in vehicle customisation. This show was started in 2015 to serve as a platform that showcases the local talent to the world.
The 6th Custom Show Emirates will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 25th to 27th of March 2022. Let’s discuss the Custom Show Emirates in more detail.
Previous Emirates Custom Shows
Before we talk about the 2022 event, let’s take a stroll down memory lane for a quick look at all the previous shows.
First Custom Show Emirates (2015)
The first Custom Show Emirates took place at ADNEC Abu Dhabi from 26th to 28th March in 2015. The show was a huge success. More than 100 locally customised vehicles were exhibited and around 35,000 visitors visited the show.
Second Custom Show Emirates (2016)
The second Custom Show Emirates at Abu Dhabi took place in 2016. The outdoor space of the arena was used as a drifting track. The largest portion of the modified cars was from Japanese auto manufacturers along with American and other classic cars. Toyota Supra modified by Shamsi got 2nd position in the show because of its uniquely modified engine. The 3rd position was acquired by an Omani car modifying group.
Third Custom Show Emirates (2017)
This third show was arranged at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Along with car and bike exhibitions, the show also used a platform to connect suppliers, retailers and buyers of modified cars. 4WD and saloon drifting, bike parades, live customisation, and stunt driving were the major attractions at the show.
Fourth Custom Show Emirates (2019)
The fourth show was also arranged at the National Exhibition Centre, Abu Dhabi. In the fourth Show, 70 international participants from 17 different countries were also invited. Around 30,000 visitors attended this show.
Fifth Custom Show Emirates (2021)
The last Custom Show took place at Dubai World Trade Centre from 8th to 10th April. The show became a major entertainment arena for car enthusiasts. Stunt driving, real-time bike building, custom sand vehicles were the major attractions for the visitors.
Custom Show Emirates 2022
The 6thCustom Show Emirates is all ready to amaze automotive enthusiasts with its exhibits of customised vehicles. After the success of five previous events, the Custom Show has widened its horizon from only exhibiting vehicles to car sales as well.
It also serves as a platform to connect retailers and businesses of modified auto parts to end consumers. Here are the complete details of the 6th Custom Show Emirates 2022.
Exhibitors Information
The strategic partnership with SEMA makes the Custom Show Emirates an international event. Around 170 exhibitors from 17 different countries will participate in the event. Two different types of spaces are available for the exhibitors.
- Bare Space: It is a three side open space to display vehicles. Three options are available for bare space 24 sqm (AED 909/sqm), 36 sqm (AED 859/sqm) and 72 sqm (AED 807/sqm).
- Shell Scheme: It is a two-sided 18 sqm covered cubicle space lined with carpet. The space is provided with one table, two chairs, three spotlights and an electricity socket. The cost of this cubicle is AED 994/sqm.
With every space, two gate passes will be provided. Additional passes can be requested by exhibitors for AED 150/person.
Legal Obligations for Exhibitors
Every exhibitor has to fill out a form available at the Custom Emirates Show website for booking spaces. Once a space is allocated, exhibitors are required to sign an official contract and pay a security cheque of AED 10,000. The amount of security deposit will be returned to exhibitors within 3 working weeks post-event.
Visitors Information
Visitors can book their passes online from the official website of Dubai World Trade Centre. Custom Show Emirates tickets will cost AED 60/person for one day and AED 150/person for three days. Other than the exhibiting vehicles, visitors can leverage the different motor competitions at the event.
Competitions at the Emirates Custom Show
The Custom Show is packed with different entertaining competitions. Here is the list of competitions that will take place at the 6th Emirates Show.
Biker Off: In this competition, exhibitors have to fabricate a completely operational motorbike. Then these bikes will participate in the bike rally and visitors will decide the winner.
Engines Battle: It is a three-day competition in which exhibitors have to assemble an engine. Engines with higher torque will win the competition.
Saloon Drifting: Drifting competition is arranged for the visitors on three days of the event. Professional drivers control understeer and oversteer of their vehicle and drift on the track.
