The most exciting classic car race is all set to happen in the UAE for the first time in history. The event was initially to be held in 2021, during the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations but got postponed due to the pandemic. The announcement ceremony of the UAE’s National Day celebration classic cars race was held in Dubai on 8th November 2022.

- 17 1000 Miglia Class Teams
- 20 Contemporary Icons
- 40 International Teams
- 24 Nationalities
- 83 Jubilee Class Teams
The event is organised by the organisers of 1000 Miglia, also known as Mille Miglia as the race takes place over 1,000 km of open roads. It is the first time the Mille Miglia event is happening outside its home Italy, which has hosted 24 of these races since 1927.
The event is undoubtedly going to be an exclusive driving experience for the UAE car racers. The driver and co-pilot race against each other in classic cars in three categories.
Participating Vehicles in the UAE National Day Classic Cars Race
Besides the 1000 Miglia classic cars, the UAE police will also participate in the race with some of its iconic vehicles. The vehicles will be shipped from Italy, India, Lebanon, the UK, the UAS, Germany and Switzerland. Also, the timekeeping equipment and timekeepers will be transported from Italy to ensure accuracy.

- One of the most valuable and rarest cars in the world will also be a part of the race: the 1958 Ferrari 250 GT California LWB Spyder.
- The 1964 Lincoln Continental is one of the popular cars owned by the Pope for his tour of India in 1964. The vehicle was then auctioned by Mother Teresa for charity.
- The smallest and boldest vehicle in the event will be the 1958 Messerschmitt FMR TG 500 Roadster.
- The car which competed with Guatemalan pilot Manfredo Lippmann in the famous South American 1953 Panamericana rally is also a part of the event: the 1952 Porsche 356
- Ten owners of Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwings, the fastest car of the 50s, will also attend the event.
