Public transport in Ajman

Taxis

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman and provides integrated transportation services for women in Ajman. The minimum trip fare for Ladies taxi service is AED 10.

Ajman Public Transport Card To Pay Fares
In order to pay the bus ticket in Ajman, you need to have a bus card for Ajman public transport. You can pay the bus fare by either Masaar app or Masaar card.
Masaar Card
Instead of cash, Masaar cards can be used to pay for bus tickets. They were launched by the Public Transport Agency in Ajman to eliminate the burden of having to wait for the bus driver to collect the fare.
Masaar App
To pay the required fare, simply scan the card on the bus’s attached device. You can apply for a Masaar card on the Government of Ajman’s official website. To submit a request, enter your Emirates ID number, credentials, and documents on the website.
Another method to pay for bus tickets is via Masaar app (Android | iOS). Upon successful installation of the app, enter all the required information like name and other relevant details. Via app, you can recharge your Masaar card and thus do not have to worry about carrying cash to pay the bus ticket.

Abra
Ajman Abra provides marine transport services to the majority of the emirate’s population. The project entails 4 marine stations, all of which are outfitted with radios, solar-powered lighting fixtures, life jackets, rescue rings, first aid kits, and fire extinguishers. The large abra can accommodate 25 people, while the small abra can hold 15 people.
The abra stations in Ajman are in Safia, Al Rashidiya, Musherief, Al Zawra, and Ajman Fish Market.
The fare charged for a single passenger to travel between two stations is AED 2. Whereas, an abra can be booked for a 30 mins trip for AED 50, a 60 mins trip for AED 100 and for a 90 mins trip for AED 150. The fare can be paid via Masaar card or cash.
