Contest Period
RTA Dubai Sustainable Mobility Photo Contest 3rd edition is open for submissions from September 25, 2023. It will end on October 15, 2023. It’s essential to note that no entries will be accepted after the specified deadline.
Categories
Participants in the competition can submit their entries in two categories:
Portfolio Category
Entrants can submit a set of five images showcasing various aspects of sustainable transportation in Dubai.
Single Photo Category
In this category, participants need to submit a single, standout image that captures the theme of ‘Mobility in Dubai’.
Terms and Conditions
Detailed below are the terms and conditions of the RTA Dubai Sustainable Mobility Photo Contest:
- Each photo should align with the competition’s theme and you cannot use the same image for multiple categories.
- All submitted images should be in JPEG format, high-resolution, with a minimum size of 5 MB.
- The photo’s larger dimension must not fall below 2000 pixels, with a minimum quality of 300 dpi.
- It is essential to use only mobile phones for capturing images, ensuring each photo is at least a minimum size of 2 MB.
Additionally, the judges can ask form RAW images or files from the participants.
Participation Rules
To ensure a fair and competitive environment, participants must adhere to the following rules:
- Participants must be individuals, not institutions and their age must be at least 18 years at the time of participation.
- All participants must confirm their acceptance of the rules at the time of participation.
- The RTA and HIPA reserve the right to automatically disqualify any photos submitted by a participant under the age of 18 at the time of participation.
- Submitted photos should not have names, frames, logos, borders, signatures, signs, date and time or anything at all except the real image itself.
- The basic allowed technical edits must not alter the authenticity or originality of the image. Participants must avoid doing advanced editing, which could create illusions, visual tricks or manipulations, including superimpositions and creative modifications.
- Images or clips that portray or include content deemed inappropriate or offensive, including but not limited to nudity, violence or other materials considered incompatible with public morality, religion, culture and Emirati customs and traditions, will be disqualified.
- The RTA and HIPA have the right to assess and exclude any images or video clips that, at their sole discretion, violate the stated rules.
Prize Money

HIPA is known for its international stature and will ensure impartiality, transparency, creativity and aesthetics are considered during the judging process.
