WHAT ARE TADBEER SERVICE CENTRES AND WHAT DO THEY DO
Tadbeer service centres in the UAE is basically a centralised and transparent source established to hire household and domestic workers. These centres recruit workers for various categories that include driver, maid, housekeeper, cook, nanny, private nurse and other fields. Also, the centres facilitate their employment at households, wherever and whenever families in the UAE need a specific worker. The entire recruitment and selection processes are monitored by the MoHRE.
Furthermore, the Tadbeer centres oversee all the legal work and perform all the documentation-related tasks of potential household workers in-house. Once all the tasks are completed, and profiles are selected, Tadbeer trains them (six months) to settle in the Emirates and with families. Also, they offer 30 days settling-in program, especially if the employer is hiring a full-time live-in worker.
Moreover, Tadbeer centres in the UAE work with other private domestic and household help providers to ensure the well-being of the workers. Therefore, all private household recruitment companies have to register with Tadbeer.

Those who need to hire domestic workers through Tabdeer can head to any of their service centres or connect with a representative via call. Here’s the list of steps involved in hiring help through Tadbeer:
- Fill in the application form at the service centre
- Mention the category of the household worker you need
- Provide the details of working hours, full-time or part-time, live-in and any specific skill you are looking for
- Tadbeer will match the available candidates with your requirements and share their profiles
- You will provide the list of shortlisted profiles to the service centre, and interviews will be scheduled with them at a Tadbeer centre
- Tadbeer will take responsibility for the interview process and replacements if the interviews of potential employers with the candidates do not go well
- Upon finalising a candidate, Tadbeer will carry out the contract process and associated payments accordingly
- The chosen candidate will get to know all the contractual terms by the potential employer and will be required to agree to them if they want to get hired
Tadbeer will take care of all the basic rights of the household worker within the agreement. Also, the worker has the right to file a complaint with Tadbeer or raise a concern anytime if they are unhappy with their employer or work.
Besides, employers/families can ask to replace a domestic worker due to any sort of disagreement. Moreover, if a worker’s behaviour results in any sort of legal issues, families who have hired them will not be held responsible.
TADBEER PACKAGES
Tadbeer UAE has different packages for hiring domestic help. The cost of hiring a domestic worker through Tadbeer UAE varies, as it depends on the package you choose and the worker’s nationality. Here we have detailed the recruitment fees under each package and as per the nationality:
RECRUITMENT
The Tadbeer recruitment package includes fair hiring from different source countries and a guarantee of 180-days. The worker is also offered family sponsorship. Here we have detailed the cost of recruitment, according to worker’s nationality:
- Philippines & India: AED 12,000
- Indonesia, Sri Lanka: AED 15,000
- Nepal: AED 14, 500
- Bangladesh: AED 7,000
- Kenya & Uganda: AED 6,500
- Ethiopia: AED 5,000
The recruitment fees are subject to change every six months by the ministry.
TEMPORARY PLACEMENT
If you want a worker to be hired on the same day on a temporary basis, then you can opt for a temporary placement package. The package offers a 6-month company sponsorship that can be transferred to family sponsorship if both parties agree to work together after six months. For temporary placement, the monthly fees according to nationality are as under:
- Philippines & Indonesia: AED 2,500
- Sri Lanka: AED 2,300
- Nepal, India, Bangladesh & Kenya: AED 2, 250
- Ethiopia & Uganda: AED 2 ,300
The temporary placement fees cover governmental fees, return tickets, end of service and benefits + basic salary. Also, the monthly fee is subject to change by the ministry every six months.
FULL-TIME LIVE-IN
Their full-time live-in package comes with a flexible contract and does not require any government paperwork. Also, Tadbeer offers free replacement of workers. Here is a breakdown of hiring fees on a flexible contract basis, irrespective of nationality:
- Half-day (4-hour): AED 120
- Daily (8-hour): AED 200
- Weekly (7 days): AED 1,120
- Monthly (30 days): AED 3,500
- 6 months: AED 3,250
- 12 months: AED 3,000
It is worthwhile to note that if you are hiring a full-time live-in house help, make sure that whether you are buying or renting a villa in the UAE or an apartment, it has a separate room or space to accommodate them.
DOMESTIC WORKER VISA SERVICES THROUGH TADBEER CENTRES IN DUBAI AND OTHER EMIRATES
Tadbeer centres offer visa services for domestic workers classified in the above-mentioned categories. The centre facilitates all the processes of government typing, issuance and renewal of visas as well as new entry permits.
The Emiratis, GCC nationals and Expats sponsoring domestic worker visa has to follow the given steps at the Tadbeer service centres:
- Collect a Qmatic token from the reception for the service you need.
- You will be called by the typist at a counter to process the documents.
- Each typing process involves a step-wise approach, which relies on the MoHRE and General Directory of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) approval to start with the next step.
- Open a sponsor file if you have not sponsored any domestic worker previously. This step takes about 24 hours for approval, and a notification is sent via SMS.
- Upon approval, you can apply for the domestic worker’s entry permit if they are not in the UAE and you want the worker to enter the country on an employment visa (entry visa). Once the typing process is approved for the entry permit, an SMS will be sent.
- You can also apply for the worker’s employment visa/entry permit if the candidate is in the UAE with a cancelled visa status or on a visit visa.
- Once approval is granted for an entry permit inside the UAE, you can apply for a change of status. The validity of this application is 60 days, during which the residence visa application is to be completed. The notification of approval or rejection of change of status will be sent via Email.
- The next step is to get a worker’s medical fitness test done via approved Government Health Centres only. This should be done before the issuance of residence visa. The medical fitness certificate is valid for 90 days only.
- Apply for Emirates ID as it is mandatory to get approval for residence visa. If the domestic worker is entering UAE for the first time, then complete the bio-metric process. For Emirate and GCC nationals, the Emirates ID is valid for two years, whereas for expat, the Emirates ID remains valid for a year.
- Apply for medical insurance once a labour contract is signed, a medical certificate is issued, and an application for Emirates ID is submitted.
- Get the MoHRE employment contract printed in case of a new visa application or if you hold an old contract.
- Once the worker receives a residence visa and their application is processed, make sure it is stamped on their passport.
In case of expats sponsoring household worker visa, they get a 2-year domestic worker visa, MoHRE contract, access to a WPS account and salary (protected), including managed HR and PRO services throughout.
Besides, on sponsoring a worker visa through Tadbeer, you get a 2-year visa at a cost starting from AED 10,000 that includes free paediatric first aid training and 30 days settling in training. And there is no visa renewal fees.

DOOR-DOOR VISA SERVICE
Tadbeer offers a VIP service for maid visa processing. A representative comes to your doorstep and collects the required documents, processes worker visas and delivers them to you. The sponsor or applicant does not need to visit the Tadbeer centre. The officer collects and drops off all the documents from the applicant, applies for entry/employment permit, processes medical typing and health car insurance, apply for employment contract and Emirates ID typing and processes the residence visa application and stamping. Basically, the liaison officer performs all the visa processing tasks detailed above on behalf of the sponsor.
