WHY OBTAINING NAKHEEL MOVE-IN AND MOVE OUT PERMITS ARE MANDATORY?
The government made issuance of move permits mandatory by the master real estate developers in the year 2013. Following the rule, Nakheel is also issuing move-in and move-out permits, in order to protect homeowners and tenants’ rights equally and avoid conflicts. The move permits were made mandatory to serve the following purpose:
- To minimise conflicts between tenants and landlords, as the points on the issue can be verified listed on the permits.
- Keep a complete record of all the residents moving in any of the Nakheel’s properties as well as of those leaving.
- The move-in permits have details of residents with special needs, so in case of emergency, the community management can rescue or contact them easily.
- When a move takes place, the management will then go for site inspection to document the current status of the property and fix the damages (if any).
- It is mandatory of the landlord to pay all the service fees before a tenant moves in or out of their property. Hence, when the community management gets a move permit request, they make sure that the dues are clear.
