Hyperloop Dubai
Upcoming transportation projects in the UAE also include the futuristic Hyperloop Dubai. Virgin Hyperloop is the only company that successfully tested the Hyperloop technology with passengers.

Sky Pod Dubai
Sky Pods are aerial public transport systems. Commuters in Dubai will have the opportunity to move around without worrying about traffic with the help of futuristic Sky Pods. Also known as Unibike and Unicar models, Sky Pods are lightweight vehicles attached with steel-made wheels to move on an air-suspended airline, much like a high-speed cable car style transportation.

Just like Dubai, Sharjah is also working on its very own electrical Sky Pod Transportation system. Once functional, the Sky Pods running across a super-strong string (much like a cable car) is going to cover 2.4 km in less than a minute at a speed of 120 km/hour. These pods are going to have a capacity of four passengers.
UAE’s upcoming transportation project is about 80% complete and runs on top of Sharjah Airport Road to University Road covering 2.8 km. The passenger model has a load capacity of four tonnes with passengers, it can also deliver 12 metre containers.
