Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to host the 119th open auction of distinctive vehicle number plates. Registration Details
Registration for the auction will commence on Monday, 22nd September 2025. Interested bidders can register through the following channels:

- On-site Registration: Available from 2:00 PM on the auction day at the Grand Hyatt Dubai Hotel

Registration Requirements
To participate in the auction, bidders must:
- Hold a valid Dubai traffic file
- Provide a security deposit cheque of AED 25,000 made payable to RTA.
- Pay a non-refundable registration fee of AED 120
Payments can be made at the Customer Happiness Centres, via credit card or through the RTA website. All sales are subject to a 5% Value-Added Tax (VAT).
Payment and Fees
Winning bidders must complete their payments within the deadlines set by the RTA. Payments can be made via credit card, cheque or direct transfer. Once payment is completed, ownership is officially registered and the plate can be assigned to the buyer’s vehicle.
