Check the Battery
The first problem you’re likely to encounter if you leave your car idle for a prolonged period is a dead battery. A car battery discharges when it’s not in use.
The problem can be solved by jump-starting your car battery. Once it’s running for 5 to 10 minutes, you should switch it off and restart your vehicle to recharge the battery. The battery or electrical system of your car may not be functioning properly, which could leave you stranded if left unattended.
