Abu Dhabi Ports Group and Ghassan Aboud Group announced the “Regional Automotive Center – Abu Dhabi” project, at the official inauguration ceremony organised in Abu Dhabi in March, 2022. The automotive centre to be completed in two years is affiliated to the Economic Cities and Free Zones Sector within the Abu Dhabi Ports Group.
This will be the region’s largest centre for car distribution and export and a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi ports. This centre will also play an important role as a gateway to the re-export of cars in the region. The cost incurred on this project is approximately AED 1.3 billion.

The regional automotive centre is a comprehensive platform supporting the establishment of global partnerships bringing car sellers, buyers, government services, logistics service providers and financing services all under one umbrella. It also supports multimodal connectivity through sea, air and land.
The Regional Auto Centre in Abu Dhabi sprawls across an area of 3.3 square kilometres in Kizad. The massive centre includes areas dedicated to showrooms, spare parts trading centres, storage facilities, car auction houses and maintenance workshops.
