- Don’t manoeuvre too much between the cars when the traffic is not moving.
- Install a special phone holder in your motorcycle to keep a track of your location. Don’t use your phone while riding on a motorcycle.
- Always follow the traffic signs and lights and don’t ride through when the light is red.
- Use direction indicators to give a sign to the vehicles on your rear when turning or changing lanes.
- Ride extra safely on the crossroads where traffic comes from all sides.
- Maintain your motorcycles regularly to ensure a safer ride.

If the motorbike riders are not wearing helmets, they will have to pay a fine of AED 500. Besides, they will receive four black points on their licence.
DISTRACTION
Since using the phone is strictly prohibited while riding. The motorbike riders found breaking this RTA motorcycle rule in Dubai will have to pay AED 400 as traffic fine. Riders will also get a penalty of four black points.
