A surge has been observed in the usage of motorcycles and scooters in Abu Dhabi. Companies providing motorcycle delivery services are the core contributor to this increase. Due to the increased usage, ITC announced new parking spaces for motorcycles in the Emirate.
Parking spots for bikes in Abu Dhabi will aid in preventing motorcycle accidents, increasing communal safety and random parking of motorcycles and scooters. Alongside, it will also increase awareness related to public parking spaces.
Free Motorcycle Parking
The timings and charges for new parking spaces will be announced by the authorities. Meanwhile, bike riders can leverage free parking space announced previously by ITC. The 546 spaces are located in ten sectors of the Emirate including Sector E16, E16-01, E18-02, E15 and E13. Moreover, Mawaqif also offers 115 parking spaces at different locations.
Along with free parking spaces, authorities also warn riders to follow all the motorcycle rules and regulations of parking in Abu Dhabi, or else will be subjected to legal action.
