Fastest Police Car In Service
Dubai Police holds the Guinness World Record for keeping the world’s fastest police car in service. With a top speed of 407 km/h, Bugatti Veyron is one of the 14 supercars in the fleet. Other Dubai police cars include a Bentley Continental GT, a bespoke Aston Martin One-77, BMW i8s, and hybrid Porsche Panameras.
Longest Driverless Metro Network
Private cars or public transport, the UAE manages to stay in the record book. The longest driverless metro network is the Dubai Metro. The Red Line is around 52.1 km in length and Dubai Metro’s Green line is around 22.5 km.
Largest Collection of 4×4 Cars
HH Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, famously known as the Rainbow Sheikh, holds the record of owning the largest collection of 4×4 cars. His vast collection of cars includes 718 4×4 vehicles.
Most LED Lights on a Car
The record of the most LED lights on a car was achieved by Global Village (UAE) on 11 November 2020. The village is a multicultural family entertainment destination and holds several unique world records. The vehicle had 37,671 LED lights and it took around eight hours to validate this record.
Largest Parade of GMC Cars
GMC and Abu Dhabi Police hold the record for the ‘Largest Parade of GMC Cars’. A total of 191 GMC vehicles participated and covered a 4 km long route on the famous Formula One Race Track. The event was held in Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, on 12 March 2018.
Heaviest Aircraft Pulled by a Production Car
Nissan Patrol has set another world record of ‘Heaviest Aircraft Pulled by Any Production Vehicle’. The driver was able to tow a 170.9-ton cargo plane for over 160 feet at the Sharjah International Airport, UAE. The vehicle was completely unmodified with only a specially made hitch to tow the plane.
UAE Largest Car Dance Record
The UAE beat the previous record of ‘Largest Synchronized Car Dance’ with 180 Nissan Patrol cars. The vehicle drove in synchronized formation to resemble the giant falcons of the desert when seen from a bird’s eye view. The record was led by international race driver Axcil Jefferies, and the vehicle drove in opposite direction covering a total distance of 1.5 km, at the Dubai Rugby 7s stadium.
Largest Motorised Truck
The largest motorised truck was commissioned by Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan and was measured in a Pyramid museum in the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, on 3 November 2010. The truck is a replica of a World War II-era Jeep Willys and is 21 feet tall.
Fastest Sand Dune Climb
Demonstrating its off-road capability, Nissan Patrol scaled the dune in only 4.9 seconds. The record was set in Jordan (Wadi Rum) on 16, August 2016. There are now three world records set by Nissan Patrol and a total of six world records by the company.

The Dubai Motorbike Festival has created a Guinness World Record by performing a non-stop wheelie of 60 km, thus setting a world record of the longest wheelie on an all-terrain vehicle. The record was achieved by Captain Abdulla Al Hattawi, in Dubai, UAE, on 12 January 2018.

Most Consecutive Donuts in a Car on a Wet Surface
The record of most consecutive donuts in a car on a wet surface was achieved by Andrea Ponticelli (Italy) on a Ford Mustang V8. The car was spun 62 times on a wet surface in Global Village’s Silver Jubilee celebration, thus managing to set the world record of most consecutive donuts in a car on a wet surface.
Fastest Vehicle Drift
The world record for fastest drift vehicle ever was broken by Nissan GT-R. Masato Kanawa (a Japanese driver) broke the record with a speed of 304.96 km/hr in a Nissan GT-R Nismo at a 30 degrees angle. This happened at an event that took place at Fujairah International Airport, UAE.
