After successfully launching the very first BMW XM in the UAE, BMW Group Middle East is all set to present the flagship version of its first-ever high-performance car – the BMW XM Label Red with an electrified drive system known as the M HYBRID system.
The system offers extra power and customised designs that showcase the car’s standout performance attributes.
The world premiere for The BMW XM Label Red – a limited edition variant will take place at the Auto Shanghai international motor show in April 2023. In addition to the Middle East and the USA, China is among the most important sales regions for the BMW XM Label Red. The car will be available to order from dealers from 28 April 2023.
Initially, only 500 units of this exclusive car by BMW will be distributed globally.
BMW XM Label Red M Hybrid System
What differentiates Label Red from BMW XM is its powerful performance and unique look. Combined with the M Hybrid System, the BMW XM Label Red is the most powerful M model by the auto manufacturer to date. BMW XM Label Red Interior
In addition to powerful performance, the BMW XM Label Red features an impressive interior design made with quality materials. What differentiates the Label Red from BMW XM is its stylish red avatar. The car interior adorns a Toronto Red Accent signifying the exclusivity of the model’s 500 available units.
The limited-edition model comes with a unique two-tone leather upholstery and a boost mode symbol appearing on the shift paddle’s left-hand side. Moreover, the satin-finished carbon fibre trim is exclusive to the car’s interior.
Other BMW XM Label Red specs include optional heated backrests extending into the sides of the cabin and cushions covered with Merino leather with red contrast stitching and an “XM” badge making up the car luxuriously comfortable for passengers.
Red is also used in the diamond-shaped upper section of the backrests and the seat head strains. Combined, the cushions, sculptural, indirectly illuminated headliner and dark windows add to the generous space of the vehicle.
BMW XM Label Red Exterior
Adding more to the car’s attraction is the BMW Individual Frozen Carbon Black metallic paint finish. Other attractive exterior features making the model eye-catchy include the headlights and kidney grille – a signature car grille of BMW.
The horizontal grille bars extending within this area have become a trademark feature of the high-performance sports cars, meanwhile, the double surrounds of the kidneys emphasise the octagonal contours vividly.
The colour for the outer border of each kidney is Black high-gloss and it is Toronto Red metallic on the special-edition variant. Red has also been used in the model badges and wheel inserts. The car’s headlights and grille form a light array giving the BMW XM Label Red a bold and poised design.
BMW XM Label Red Engine and Transmission
The model is an AWD. Thanks to the M Hybrid drive system, the BMW XM Label Red makes a massive horsepower of 748 and a torque of 1000 nm. The exclusive model is powered by a new V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology and an electric motor combined with the eight-speed M Steptronic transmission.
The high-performance 4.4-litre V8 engine and the hybrid electrical machine generate an inspiring forward thrust and a unique engine sound typical of M.
Moreover, the torque churned out by the electric motor can reach an effective maximum of 450 nm with a pre-gearing stage patented by the auto manufacturer. This enables the XM Label Red to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
Electronically, the top speed of BMW XM Label Red is 250 km/h but with the optional M Driver’s package it rises to 290 km/h.
Price of the BMW XM Label Red in the UAE
As for the price of BMW XM Label Red in the UAE, BMW will announce it after revealing the exclusive model at the Auto Shanghai international motor show in April 2023. That said, the car will be available to order from dealers by the end of April 2023.
