NOTE: Visa copy may be required if the designation mentioned in the Emirates ID is not the same as in the stamped visa.

- A commercial licence permit
- A medical certificate from the RTA approved medical centres such as Canadian Hospital, DHA-Medical Fitness Centre, Gulf Healthcare, DM Healthcare, Prime Healthcare, Iranian Hospital and Zulekha Hospital
Customer with a partner visa:
- A copy of the trade licence
If your file is transferred from another Emirate/Institute in Dubai
- If registration was before April 2017, the original RTA file from the previous institute is required
- Status report/NOC from the previous institute
- Theory lectures details (if applicable)

- Valid /invalid learning permit (only for Dubai)
UAE Bedouin/Marsom:
- Valid and original marsom letter
- Valid and original passport

Mandatory Documents for Residents from Another Emirates
On family-sponsored or personal visa and currently residing in Dubai:
- A copy of valid passport
- A visa copy of the applicant and the sponsor
- Original Emirates ID
- A valid electricity bill from DEWA* and tenancy contract from Ejari (no need in case you have a declaration letter)
- If the applicant is a student in Dubai, they require a declaration letter from the school or university
- Eye test report (After approval)
- NOC for professional help (e.g. housemaid, nanny, driver)
On a company-sponsored visa:
Situation 1: Company has a branch in Dubai and the applicant is currently in Dubai:
- Original and valid Emirates ID
- Valid passport copy & visa copy of the applicant
- Copy of valid trade licence of the Dubai branch of the company with the company matching the name on the trade licence
- NOC that clearly mentions the applicant works in the Dubai branch of the said company
- Eye test from RTA approved eye centres in Dubai (After approval)
Situation 2: Company does not have a branch in Dubai, but the applicant is currently in Dubai:
- Original and valid Emirates ID
- Valid passport copy, visa copy of the applicant and the sponsor
- Eye test report (After approval)
- Valid electricity bill from DEWA and tenancy contract from Ejari
- NOC issued by the company from other emirates in case there is no branch in Dubai
Fee Structure
The RTA fee is AED 1,450 plus other charges. This fee is not required in the case of a fixed-price course.
