Eligibility Criteria for Industry Leaders
The companies willing to participate in the 3rd Dubai Self-Driving Transport Challenge should adhere to these terms and conditions.
- The company must provide an idea for a fully operational self-driving bus with a minimum capacity of 12 passengers.
- The ideas will be evaluated on the basis of four key components: Passenger Transport Performance, Safety and Security, Operational design Domain and Operational Capabilities.
Eligibility Criteria for Local Academia
The eligibility criteria for the Local Academia is as follows.
- Only UAE-based research institutes and universities working on self-driving solutions are allowed.
- The solution should be provided in the form of a fully or partially working prototype.
- The prototypes will be evaluated on the basis of the maturity of the solution, improvement of passenger experience and integrability with Self-Driving buses.
