Chevrolet used the full-size truck frame for Blazer which made the vehicle larger than its competitors. The interior could be configured for one, two, or five passengers.

S 10 BLAZER – 1983 TO 1994 – THIRD GENERATION
The S 10 Blazer was introduced in 1982 as a 1983 model. It was a smaller version of the K5 Blazer intended for people who didn’t need the extra space provided in the preceding models. The model offered a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 83 horsepower.
Unlike the Chevrolet K5, S 10 did not have a convertible top. The S 10 Blazer was only offered in two-door style until 1991 when Chevrolet introduced a four-door version that sat on a 6.5-inch long wheelbase.
CHEVROLET BLAZER – 1995 TO 2005 – FOURTH GENERATION
As Tahoe appeared on the scene and took centre stage, the Blazer name became exclusive for smaller SUVs. The 1995 generation of Chevrolet Blazer included more rounded bodylines for a sleeker appearance. Both two and four-door models were introduced with more storage space to cater for the families.
The Chevrolet Blazer included a 4.3-litre V6 engine with 200 horsepower and 353 Nm torque. The transmission options included a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual with two or four-wheel drive.
The two-door Blazer with four-wheel drive became popular for off-roading. Chevrolet Blazer history saw the introduction of the Chevrolet Extreme in 2001. The two-wheel drive vehicle was a street-focused vehicle with sport suspension, a body kit, specific wheels and a lower body height. Chevrolet Blazer production was halted in 2005.
CROSSOVER BLAZER 2019 – PRESENT – FIFTH GENERATION
