Issuance of a title deed is an important part of buying property in Abu Dhabi. It is an official document that serves as proof that you own a specific property or a piece of land. When buying a property in Abu Dhabi, it is mandatory to register it with the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DARI).
Without a title deed, you could face legal issues like ownership disputes, property fraud and eviction risks. This emphasises the importance of title deeds when buying property. Now, let’s take a closer look at how to obtain a title deed in Abu Dhabi and why it is essential.
Why a Title Deed Is Essential for Property Owners in Abu Dhabi
The government of Abu Dhabi has made it mandatory for real estate investors to register their properties with DARI in 2018. To confirm the property’s registration with the organisation, a title deed is issued to the owner.
