Abu Dhabi’s Real Estate Initiatives at GITEX Global 2025
Led by the Department of Government Enablement (DGE), more than 30 government and academic entities came together under the theme ‘AI-Native by Design, Community-Driven by Purpose.’ Across four days, Abu Dhabi unveiled over 55 projects and 40+ partnerships, demonstrating how artificial intelligence is reshaping governance, services and urban life across the emirate.
The following initiatives directly contribute to the real estate, infrastructure and urban development ecosystem, paving the way for a smarter, safer and more sustainable Abu Dhabi.
Smart Urban Planning with LivAI Digital Twin
The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) introduced LivAI, a state-of-the-art digital twin platform designed to transform urban planning in Abu Dhabi. By integrating real-time data, predictive analytics and robotics, LivAI allows authorities to simulate and optimise city development, ensuring more efficient, connected and sustainable urban environments.
TAMM 4.0: Enhancing Real Estate and Infrastructure Services

At the centre of Abu Dhabi’s transformation is TAMM, the emirate’s super app that now unifies over 1,100 public and private services. The latest TAMM 4.0 upgrade introduces groundbreaking features that redefine how residents interact with the government. The key highlights include:
- AI Vision & Smart Guide: Step-by-step visual and spoken support that simplifies complex services.
- TAMM by You: A new participatory feature allowing residents to suggest and vote on future services in line with Abu Dhabi’s Year of Community.
- Expanded TAMM Spaces: Two new TAMM Spaces — Mobility and Family — were introduced, joining the Sahatna Space. Alongside the already live Business and Property interfaces, this brings the total number of TAMM Spaces to five. Each Space consolidates essential services from multiple government entities into a single, user-friendly interface, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s people-first approach to digital governance.
Sustainable Energy Partnerships Power Abu Dhabi’s AI Transformation
The Department of Energy (DOE) announced three new partnerships to support Abu Dhabi’s AI transformation and Net Zero 2050 goals.
In collaboration with Google Cloud, the DOE will use AI and machine learning to improve renewable energy management across the emirate’s power grid. SPACE42 will apply satellite imagery and geospatial AI to enhance sustainable development, water management and infrastructure monitoring.
DMT Partnerships For Smart Infrastructure and Urban Management

The deployment of AI and IoT technology in urban management is enhancing real estate development with smart infrastructure. DMT partnerships with entities like e& and Capgemini aim to utilise AI drones for infrastructure inspection, landscape management and urban planning, ensuring sustainable and well-maintained environments.
