Cadillac has announced the order launch of its first electric car, Lyriq Al Awael (The Firsts<\/em><\/strong>) in the UAE. The brand\u2019s customers will now be able to reserve limited spots to own the luxury car. They will be provided an online form on the Cadillac website and on its completion, will be contacted by a Cadillac dealer partner. They will then be able to secure an order for the Lyriq.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a well-known Cadillac fact<\/a> that the brand came up with many firsts. Whether it is electric starters, airbags or a V12 engine, Cadillac made use of it first. That said, when the brand released its first electric car, Lyriq, it rolled out as a perfect blend of luxury, performance and comfort. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq Al Awael draws power from an Ultium EV 12-module 102 kWh battery pack. It generates 500 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque. Moreover, an all-wheel drive system<\/a> adds to the vehicle\u2019s handling and trailering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The all-electric car also comes with different car driving modes<\/a> for different road conditions. These include Tour, Sport, Snow\/Ice and My Mode. Moreover, regenerative braking provides a smooth ride experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The charging options for the Lyriq add to the convenience of EV charging at home<\/a>. The owner can charge their vehicle at public DC fast charge stations, public charging units or an industry-level 2 charging unit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The car offers a range of 494 km on a full charge. The vehicle can go up to 125 km of range for a ten-minute charge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

EXTERIOR <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The all-new Cadillac Lyriq al Awael houses a sleek Celestial Metallic armour exterior. It features a distinctive black-colour car grille<\/a> with dark-coloured accent finishes on the body and wheels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cadillac offers Lyriq as a blend of functionality and form. When the Cadillac crest is pressed on the port door, it gives way to a charging port. The car\u2019s rear profile is enhanced by LED tail lights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

INTERIOR<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Similar to the exterior, Cadillac paid attention to minute details of the interior as well. The interior offers a spacious cabin with a cargo space of 792 litres. A 33-inch diagonal advanced LED display, having a 9K resolution adorning the front. Ambient lighting provides a 26-colour LED spectrum for a soothing ride. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, the AKG 19-speaker studio system is integrated with Adaptive Volume and Surround technology. It provides a high-quality experience when listening to songs, news or podcasts.  Moreover, the centre console has been set in a cantilevered position with intricate knurling. The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq al Awael comes with several infotainment and connectivity features. These include the Energy Assist feature for car charging. It is activated through the infotainment system of the car or the MyCadillac app. The car also comes with a 3-year subscription to Onstar, a feature of Cadillac Connected Services<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
