The first generation Dzire was released in 2008 as a sub-compact sedan under different names in different countries. Apart from Dzire, it was also named Suzuki Swift Dzire and Suzuki Swift sedan. The core reason for attaching Swift with the name was its resemblance to the car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exterior of the first-generation Dzire resembles that of a Swift released during the same period. At the front, the car features swept-back headlights and a narrow radiator grille. The front lower bumper has a large air intake sandwiched between two fog lights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second Generation (2012 to 2016)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The second generation received a revised front fascia. The narrow radiator grille was enlarged with a metal slate in between. Smaller horizontal lines were introduced in the air intake on the lower bumper. Whereas, fog lights retained their position. The headlights and backlights have similar shapes as their predecessors but with more sharp and more pronounced angles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside the cabin, no major changes were observed. The winged-shaped air vents were installed on the centre console and the three-dial instrument cluster was replaced with a two-dial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this generation, Suzuki offers 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engine. The engine was accompanied by a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission system<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third Generation (2017 to 2021)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The third-generation Suzuki Dzire was completely redesigned to cater to the shifting customer demands. Body contours were added to the front fascia which provides a hood with a pronounced shape. Instead of swept-back headlights, pointed eye-shaped headlights were offered in the third generation<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Current Generation of Suzuki Dzire (2022 to Present)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The current generation of Dzire has a more modern exterior with contours running from the front end to the back end. A large radiator grille spanning over the upper and lower bumper is present. The air vents and fog lights are submerged and positioned at the lower bumper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cabin is completely different from the preceding models. It features a large dashboard with controls present on the centre console. Under the air vents, a large infotainment screen is present. Moreover, a control panel is also installed at the end of the centre console for the rear seat passengers.
