How to Drive in the Fast Lane<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The fast lane is the left-most lane of the highway with a maximum permissible speed of 140 km\/h. Whereas, two main highways in the UAE<\/a>; the Sheikh Khalifa highway and the Abu Dhabi – Al Ain highway, have a maximum speed limit of 160 km\/h. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Do not tailgate when attempting to overtake in the fast lane<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Motorists when trying to overtake in the fast lane are not allowed to tailgate the leading vehicle. 5. Delivery riders must not use the fast lane<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you are a delivery rider, you are not allowed to use the fast lane in Dubai. This is because delivery riders in Dubai can only travel at a set speed limit of 100 km\/h. If caught violating this rule, the delivery rider can get fined AED 400 by the Dubai Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
