This announcement came as a part of RTA\u2019s initiative to provide a seamless and hassle-free transportation experience to people in the Emirates. RTA expects about 5000 drivers to take the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These tests will serve as a part of the screening process. The linguistic test will ensure a person\u2019s understanding of the English language while the psychometric testing for drivers will check their professional attributes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
