Since many people are adopting EVs, an agreement was signed by the United Arab Emirates\u2019 Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) with Audi Middle East (ME) and Siemens to work on the EV charging infrastructure together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DETAILS ON THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN AUDI UAE, SIEMENS AND THE MINISTRY OF ENERGY UAE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The agreement between Audi UAE, Siemens and the Ministry of Energy UAE was signed to increase the number of EV charging stations on federal roads. The aim is to encourage more people to adopt EVs<\/a> across the Emirates. Furthermore, they plan to collaborate on many initiatives that could convince motorists to switch to sustainable mobility, such as EVs.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per the agreement between Audi UAE, Siemens and the Ministry of Energy UAE, the MoEI will install ten rapid Siemens Sicharge D EV chargers of 160 kW. These chargers for electric vehicles in the UAE will be installed on the highways of Fujairah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain. These are cloud-connected devices that will enable their operator to remotely manage and track these EV chargers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discussions on UAE\u2019s EV charging infrastructure with Audi are expected to take a boost. This is because Audi already has development and investment plans for the infrastructure for electric vehicles in the UAE. Moreover, Audi becomes one of the premium sustainable mobility suppliers with the launch of the Audi E-Tron GT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
