The first model of the B-Class was rolled off in the year 2005. The car was recognizable because of its compact box-shaped exterior. The body of the first generation B-Class was pointed at the front and straight at the back with an uplifted roof. The front featured Mercedes\u2019 signature radiator grille sandwiched between triangular headlights. Whereas the back was almost straight with rectangular tail lights. The car was built on a wider wheelbase that provides enough space to accommodate 5 passengers. The floor was flat to ensure a comfortable ride experience for the passengers in the rear seats. Second Generation (2008 to 2010)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The second-generation B-Class receives a major facelift with redesigned radiator grille, headlights and front fascia. The narrow slats of the signature grille were replaced by thicker slats, and the shape of the headlights was changed from triangular to rectangular. Whereas the front bumpers were also redesigned. Moreover, the parking sensors were installed subtle inside the rim, which also adds to the overall exterior of the car. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the interior, Mercedes redesigned the centre slack and an advanced infotainment system<\/a> was also installed. However, the other interior features remain the same, as they were in the first generation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the hood, 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engine were offered. These engines can be paired with a 5 or 6-speed manual and automatic transmission system<\/a>. Limited models were offered with start and stop technology to increase the fuel efficiency of the car.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third Generation (2012 to 2014)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The third generation was different from the Mercedes B-Class old models. The car was manufactured on the A-Pillar design, the hood flows all the way to the top and descends at the back. The rectangular headlights were replaced with an eye-shaped pointed headlight. To increase the length of the vehicle, a spoiler<\/a> was added at the rear end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interior of the car was finely surfaced and high-quality materials were used for a better finish. The centre console was redesigned and the infotainment screen was shifted at the top of the dashboard. The front fascia was facelifted with a redesigned radiator grille, hood and LED headlights. Whereas, the body contours were more enhanced which makes the look more pronounced. The current generation of the Mercedes-Benz B-Class was unveiled in 2018. The car is manufactured on the MFA2 platform which provides it with a more sporty appearance.
