The evasive steering assist uses the radar sensor and the camera of the Pre-Collision Assist along with the Automatic Emergency Braking to apply active braking on identifying a vehicle ahead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evasive steering assist in Ford helps drivers by providing extra steering support or in other words multiplies the force to maneuver when simply applying a brake is not enough to avoid the collision. It is worthwhile to note that this feature does not control the steering wheel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
