As the automotive industry is all set to manufacture all electric vehicles (EV), Jaguar has decided to join the league in the year 2025. The automaker is all geared up to launch its new all-electric vehicles with a dedicated EV platform, named Panthera. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Jaguar plans to go all-electric in 2025, it does not plan to launch any new model in the market. This is because they plan to integrate a new EV platform. With Jaguar Panthera, they plan to introduce a unique platform. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaguar\u2019s Panthera will have its own features, accents and capabilities. However, more details of the new platform are yet to be announced. For now, let\u2019s explore Jaguar\u2019s idea and aim behind their dedicated EV platform. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaguar decided to come with a complete new line of electric vehicles<\/a> in 2025 after a few delays and setbacks in the EV initiative. For this reason, an advanced and dedicated platform was required that will be used onward in all of Jaguar future electric cars. The idea to introduce a new EV platform is actually part of their Reimagine Electrification Plan  announced in 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this plan in motion, the launch of the electric Jaguar XJ sedan was cancelled. However, in its place the company will launch six new all-electric SUVs by 2027. Besides, the all-electric Jaguar I-Pace SUV will make a comeback in the year 2022, as of February 2022, with a better interface and fast charging ability. Also, the company plans to continue this model\u2019s production even after the launch of a new EV line in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jaguar\u2019s Panthera will be customisable for particular EV models and their features. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few of their competitors have integrated their own EV platforms. Therefore, Jaguar decided to design and program its own. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, talking about the customization, Jaguar Panthera will be completely bespoke and will have its own perks to offer. For Land Rover, EV platform will be completely different that potential customers will be briefed about.
