However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubizzle.com\/blog\/cars\/all-about-rta-dubai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RTA Dubai<\/a> aims to reach at least 125,000 rides on a daily basis in 2021 and 275,000 riders per day by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, Expo Station will also serve approximately 35,000&nbsp; Expo visitors during weekdays and 47,000 visitors during weekends. Route 2020 is linked to seven stations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>One transfer station<\/li><li>One iconic station<\/li><li>Three elevated stations<\/li><li>Two underground stations.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The size of the elevated station ranges between 8,100 sq m to 8,800 sq m, while the Expo station covers an area of 18,800 sq m. Moreover, the size of the underground stations ranges between 27,000 to 28,700 sq m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dubai-metro-route-2020-station-details\">Dubai Metro Route 2020 Station Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Route 2020 features seven LEED Gold Certified stations that include two underground and three interchange stations. These stations will connect to the following points:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Discovery Gardens<\/li><li>Al Furjan<\/li><li>Jumeirah Golf Estates<\/li><li>The Dubai Investment Park<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2020 Metro Route plan also includes constructing an interchange station on the Red Line, at Tower and Nakheel Harbor. The Iconic Station will also be built at the Exhibition site.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-new-dubai-metro-route-map\">New Dubai Metro Route Map<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dubai Metro Route 2020 extends around 15 km, further divided into two sections. The elevated section comprises 11.8 km, while the remaining 3.2 km is an underground track.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The depth of the 3.2 km long tunnel ranges between 12.5 m to 36 m, located between Green Community and Discovery Garden. The total area of the station is 8,800 sq. m that reaching 150 meters in length. It can accommodate around 320,000 riders daily and at least 17,000 per hour during peak timings. Other highlights of the station are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Seven parking spots for people of determination<\/li><li>Four platforms<\/li><li>17 taxi drop-offs<\/li><li>Four bus lay-bys<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As of now, the station is open for public use.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-al-furjan-station\">Al Furjan Station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Since Al Furjan is a gated community, finding public transport was a little difficult. However, with the help of Route 2020, Dubai Metro is easily accessible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The length of Al Furjan Station is 168 meters and can facilitate around 4,746 riders daily during peak hours and 125,000 in normal condition. The Garden Station also has two parking spots for people of determination.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-discovery-gardens-station\">Discovery Gardens Station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It is an underground metro station with a 3.2 km long tunnel. The tunnel is between the Green Community and the Discovery Garden in DIP. The opening of the station will help in providing access to the residents to the other parts of the emirate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-jumeirah-golf-estates-station\">Jumeirah Golf Estates Station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Jumeirah Golf Estate is one of the prime locations and home to the largest underground station of Dubai Metro Route 2020. The station\u2019s length comprises 232 meters and 28,700 square meters.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dubai-investments-park-station\">Dubai Investments Park Station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>People living near Dubai Investment Park can now easily access public transport. For instance, it will take around 10 minutes to reach the Expo 2020 site by using the Investment Park Station.
