Sharjah Police is offering a 35% discount on traffic fines for motorists who pay the fines early. Discounts on traffic fines in Sharjah are introduced to encourage motorists to pay their fines on time and to facilitate those who are struggling to pay off hefty fines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, as part of their plan to encourage safe driving, motorists are given a 35% discount on traffic fines in Sharjah<\/strong>. Motorists can avail the fine discount scheme from April 1, 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discount applies to any traffic violation (excluding serious violations) registered in the last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharjah Police also decided to waive off vehicle impoundment penalties and cancel black points for the specified period. They called on car owners to make use of the traffic discount offered in Sharjah and speed up the payment of fines during the given time period. Sharjah Police called on vehicle drivers to avoid committing traffic violations and accidents by following all traffic rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Alay Al Naqbi, Director of Traffic and Patrol Department at Sharjah Police, mentioned that the discount is valid for vehicle owners who wish to pay within 60 days of fine registration. Moreover, motorists paying traffic fines within 60 days to one year can enjoy a 25% discount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in 2022, on the 51st<\/sup> UAE National Day<\/strong>, motorists in Sharjah had the option to avail a 50% discount on traffic fines in the Emirate. Traffic violations (minus serious offences) committed before December 1, 2022, were applicable for the 50% fine reduction. With such a scheme, the authorities aim to make the public free of financial burdens and make them happy.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
