3. Bat Radar<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dubai Police introduced the bat radars in 2017 to catch motorists who violate the school bus stop signs. These radars are installed on the school bus stops where these buses pick and drop students. The Supervisor, commonly known as Al Motabea\u2019a are a device the Dubai Police launched in 2016 to monitor and capture motorists not driving in the correct intersections and lanes. 5. Standard Cameras for Speeding <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Standard speeding cameras are installed in large numbers all across the UAE. They flash in case any vehicle surpasses the speeding limit. In all the emirates except Abu Dhabi, there is a buffer of 20km\/h above the speed limits. This means the cameras don\u2019t flash unless you exceed the limit plus the buffer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Armour-plated speed cameras<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

These are enforcement trailer cameras developed by French electrical engineering firm Cegelec and German company Vitronic. An advanced radar technology, it allows the cameras to monitor lanes in both directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
