Road Quality Assessment Standards<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As per the RTA, the technical assessment of Dubai roads facilities and conditions was done with the Bridges Maintenance Management System (BMMS) index. Moreover, the maintenance strategies were checked against the international asset management standards ISO 55000 and ISO 55001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The high percentage on the Dubai road quality and connectivity index was made possible by using predictive maintenance programmes along with conducting extensive technical assessments. Also, RTA always ensures that motorists abide by all the UAE driving rules<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bridges Maintenance Management System<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

RTA launched the Bridges Maintenance Management System in 2017. This system is responsible for the management of bridges. It has resulted in a remarkable increase in assessments and inspection of operation facilities, such as tunnels and bridges and tunnels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This expert assessment system has covered around 1522 facilities including constructional, civil and electromechanical systems. There is an annual 10% increase in the assessment of road facilities, especially from a technical perspective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
